Winston - What a great idea Mimi has for making sure we paint straight lines. I personally hate to paint and have found the best way to get a straight line is to hire someone else to do it!

I've used tape and have had to deal with the pain wicking under the tape as she descirbes. I will have to try this trick. Thanks for re-blogging and sharing the idea.

Winston - Thank you for sharing detailed quality information on how to paint a straight line on a textured wall.
thanks for the reblog, Winston. It DOES make a difference if you are painting in the humidity of Florida or the DRY Colorado Mountain air :)
Winston, I did see Mimi's blog and all I could think was let my husband the builder worry about that. I'm an artist and all I paint is pictures.
