Silent Sunday ~ Carroll County, Maryland

One of the highlights of this sniffling, sneezing, congested family weekend was this cute picture my hubby snapped of our little Maisy watching “Hachi” with us.

Silent Sunday ~ Carroll County, Maryland

“Hachi: A Dog’s Tail” is a heart warming drama based on a true story about a college professors bond with an abandoned Akita. If you haven’t seen it, I won’t spoil it for you. It’s a beautiful story.

Diane - We have three inside dogs and it's quite hysterical when something on the tv catches their attention.  Usually it involves barking dogs.  Several times though other animals have sent them on a barking frenzy themselves!

Totally cute - haven't seen this movie but we'll have to check it out.

Maisy's not so "little!"

My three ignore the TV most of the time, but my neighbor's Border Collie goes wild over animal shows and certain ads.

You know the credit card ads with the cave men (or whatever they are - dressed in skins or something and they have a goat with them.)

She starts to bark and then does this high sideways jump back and forth in front of the TV. If he didn't have it mounted too high, I swear she'd try to dive right through the screen. I'll say one thing - it sure shows off her athletic abilities!

We once had an old dog who had her favorite afternoon shows. She'd show up to watch TV with my Grandmother when it was time for the show, then get up and leave when it was over.

I did see the movie and enjoyed it, however, none of the animals in the house told a great interest. :)

Thanks for posting the little (?) Maisy photo Diane.

Never heard of that story. Wondered what got your dogs attention. I understand the sniffling, sneeze weekend...mine is still hanging on.  :-(

Cyndi ~ It's so funny when they do.

Lindsey ~ Some really do.

Marte ~ Great stories, how cool! My guys usually ignore tv too, atleast the shepards do. My rotties are very inquisitive and clownish.

Tom ~ LOL, she's the little-est in the house at about 65 lbs.

Than ~ I don't recall hearing it advertised, I found it on cable one lazy afternoon. Sniffling, sneezing junk is still hanging on here too. I guess it could be worse. Hang in there. : )

Hi Diane,

I think this picture is adorable. I have 3 dogs and 2 could care less but the third, my oldest, loves to sit on the couch and watch the TV. She barks when there is dogs on the screen. She likes the Superbowl Mazda commercial with the dog trying to get out the doggie door to chase the car.
