Always great to send out some public service type posts!
I think this is the first time I've heard of a minimum weight requirement to give blood. I guess if someone is too small, they might not have enough left over after donating. Thanks for the announcement and I hope it does some good.

Blood drives are so important in every community. My life was saved by donated blood.

Something I have never done, donated blood. My Dad did once and ended up being rushed to the hospital where he had to be given blood...........that just scared me.

Blood drives this time of the year are extremely important to each local community served by the blood bank or hospital. Supplies of blod always grow thin in January and Febraury of any given year. The gift of blood may save someone's life.
My father-in-law turned me on to a book you may enjoy assuming you have not already read it. Its title is " Heaven is for real" and the author is Todd Burpo. Easy reading, fasinating and hard to put down type of book.
