Interesting. There's a link for 'Lenders' in the footer of Zillow's site that leads to a page that says "sign up to be among the first to learn about a new loan service we'll be launching later this year." Worth keeping an eye on, and definitely Twitterable.

Interesting. Lead generation for lenders...consumers looking for "Zortgages"?

I wonder how the appraisals would effect "Zestimates" down the line if appraisals generated through Zillow mortgages become part of Zillow's valuation somewhere down the road.

This does seem like a natural growth area for Zillow to expand into...among others....

I wonder if this is the job that Todd Carpenter sent his resume in for.. Todd blogged about it on his blog with all the interviews at least a couple of weeks ago.... I know I found it when I was trying to spread the runor that Zillow was buying ActiveRain... that was Sellsius Blog's Halloween funny.... forgive me.

I think it is Todd's blog where there is a discussion about whether they'd use Zestimates or real appraisals...Or maybe in something that links to his.

Zillow bites my butt!! The Zestimates are hardly ever even near to being correct & have created a pain for us. This is going to be quite interesting.

No, I am not looking for a job. I placed an ad today to hire for a new position. :)

Did anyone notice the article on Inman today with Zillow giving its Zindex of pricing trends across the nation? Just what we need ... more house pricing stats that are off. As bad as their Zestimates are, it's really troublesome to have Z acting as an authority on pricing stat trends!
