Two months of FREE York Region Transit / YRT / VIVA transit to March 31, 2012
The Regional Municipality of York is providing FREE transit service to riders who use any York Region Transit ("YRT") or VIVA route in York Region from Saturday, February 4, 2012 to Saturday, March 31, 2012.
The free transit offer is intented to benefits anyone who was affected during the labour dispute and strike that affected the bus services over the past few months.
The free rides on York Region Transit and VIVA also apply to Dial-a-Ride, Mobility Plus, TTC routes that operate within York Region, GO Route 69 - Sutton Bus operating within York Region and YRT routes that continued to operate in the southwest division of York Region during the strike.
