I have just started on Pinterest and having a hard time getting into is. My boards are a little lacking in content.
Nathan Just do it! Or don't. It does not take a lot of looking into really. Pinterest is pretty simple.
Jamie I think I pinned two things on two boards and then left for weeks or months. Having the "Pin It" intalled made it more fun for me. Especially when it worked.
Maureen, I am addictive to Pinterest. I did sign up and created my local group. I haven't started uploading pictures actively but I have good collection of photos where I can share some local information. I am not going to put my Realtor picture and tag myself I think it is chessy.
Ritu I cringe at some of what I see by r.e. agents but many of us can behave in public. Someone I like a lot was sharing realtor head shots and did me. I turn agents on and off (unfollow and then follow) because I can not bear to watch them sometimes when they are posting listing photos or logos. I do that with other people though too.
I am slow with all the new stuff and for me it is the law of accumulation. When I hear a lot, at some point I finally go and try to figure it out.
I am my own unfortunate resistance (LOL)
If you want a Pinterest invite just let me know via email Jon. Pinterest is very popular but it is not exactly what it seems at first glance because of affiliate market links, which most of us, in our industry are not at all involved in. We are clueless about that side of social media for the most part. I've read there is no disclosure about it either... I don't believe it is in their TOS.
Pinterest is fun. It is more female focused but it is fun to see men pin. Companies, websites and publications 'pin' too
