One of the most popular spots for these neighborhoods is Prune Hill - known for its stylish homes and stunning vistas. I'm sure the Prune farmers in the late 1800's didn't see their agricultural ventures turning into one of the county's most desirable addresses. However,  close proximity to I-205, Portland International Airport and a top-rated school system make it a great choice for many buyers.

If you're longing for a home with views of a lake, and easy access to all the amenities of lakeside living, you're in luck in Camas, Washington. One of my favorite neighborhoods is Lacamas Shores. 254 homes are tucked into the banks above Lacamas Lake in the Lacamas Shores neighborhood. Picnic facilities, a private boat launch and many walking trails give homeowners the best of lake side living. In addition, Camas Meadows Golf Club is located adjacent to Lacamas Shores giving residents easy access to a quick game of golf.

Village at Round Lake is another Camas neighborhood that offers its residents a lakeside lifestyle, but without the sizzling views of Lacamas Shores - or the higher price tag. Homes in this neighborhood sell in the mid to upper $200,000's.

There are currently 29 River view homes for sale in Camas, Washington. The most expensive is priced at 2,890,000 - and the least expensive is a short sale priced at 159,900. The median price for a river view home is $524,900 as of February 2012.

There are currently 18 Lake view homes for sale in Camas, Washington. Most feature views of Lacamas Lake. The most expensive home at this time is priced at $1,495,000, and is located in Lacamas Shores. The least expensive home for sale is located in Round Lake, and is priced at $270,000. The median price of a lake view home as of February 2012, is $672,600.
