31 Comments on Texas Has Great Benefits for Texas Military Veterans
Hi Fred. That 7.25% is for the Land Loans only. Home Loans are presently at 3.58%. It could be even lower for those vets with more than 30% or more disability.
Have a Great Week!
Jerry, I had no idea rates for land were so much higher than SFR's. Makes sense though. What a great opportunity to buy a piece of land and start a future. The fact that they only need 5% down is incredible.
Hi Belinda. Yes, These Land Loans are a little different than Single Family Residence Loans. Now, a vet can buy a small piece of land starting at one acre to build his dream home on later. I tried to convince my family to move to the country with some acres awhile back, but they like the city to much.
and very deserving I might add good for all to show apprecation to the great men and women
Texas really knows how to treat their veterans by offering these special programs to them. I could even qualify for this program but I'd have to move to Texas. May someday soon Jerry.
Thanks for pointing out some of the benefits that Texas has to offer to the veterans Jerry.
Texas does have awesome vet programs and it's great to the word out. I'll reblog!
Jerry-Thanks for the info. Last time I checked on the Veterans Land Program, I thought it required five acres, minimum. Good info.
Thanks, Charles. I am glad to see Texas leading the way in honoring our veterans. Have a Wonderful Day!
Yes, Doug. As a veteran yourself, you would certainly benefit from these nice benefits, if you ever decided to make that Move to Texas. Have a Great Day!
You are Welcome, Tom. We need to get the word out there to all those vets. I know many may not know about these benefits.
Thanks, Sue. I appreciate your help in spreading the word to all our Veterans. Have a Wonderful Day in Austin, TX.
Hi Wayne, The TVLB dropped that requirement of 5 acres down to one acre last year. I found out about it at the Veterans Clinic at Live Oak last year. Have a Great Day!
Jerry - It's nice to know that Texas takes care of our Veterans and they are offered so many options. The least we can do for our military who fights everyday for our freedom is reward with special programs and discounts! Great blog!
Jerry,
You are right Texas does have some great benefits for its military veterans, good of you to get the word out.
Hi Kristine. I know I am grateful for all our veterans, and I am glad that Texas has decided to honor them with these nice benefits. Enjoy the rest of this week!
Yes, Michele. As a veteran myself, I love all these great benefits that Texas has for our vets. Enjoy the rest of your Week!
Jerry,
Great information, I have had a few deals like this it is a great program for the Vet. Also, thanks so much for reblogging Sherri's story I remember another A/R member posting this in December and I kept wondering about her! Stopped by and of course I have been praying for her!
Thanks, Yolanda. I know Sherri will appreciate all the prayers and support she receives from her AR Family. It's truly a miracle for Ashlee to come through all that she did.
Yes, Our Vets are very Blessed to have these nice benefits.
