writer's blockI've hit a wall again.  The blogging challenge is getting me down.  Can't seem to come up with a blog topic that interests me.  Time is an issue too.  A few times on one or two of those sleepless nights I have, an idea wizzes past me but then it's forgotten by morning.

A few years back, I was in the mode I am in now.  No ideas, no time or ambition to put something up there. I decided to look back at my past blogs to see what topics I have blogged on and how I can improve my blog; maybe get an idea from something I wrote in the past. I ran across my Ode to Seinfeld, my blog on nothing.  I thought maybe I could write another blog about nothing.

You know, like a sequel. You know what they say about sequels....bad idea.

I never want to blog just to blog. I really don't care about the points thing and never have. I've been blogging on AR almost four years and haven't broken 100K.  I try to make my topics worth while if I am going to take the time out to do them. Then I thought maybe I should post links to some of the good blogs I have read. I get so much from AR and don't say it enough or comment enough.  The problem is once I get on, I can't get off!

So here are a few I bookmarked in the past.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Some of them may be from a year or so ago but definitely worth reading. I am always behind and playing catch up. It gives me more to look forward to. The great thing about AR is you will always run across a hidden gem. Thanks for reading this blog:)

Hi there.... time to regroup and shake off the old mindset. Blogging is everywhere and anywhere... around every corner and down every street. Take out  you camera and find some place fun to take photos... don't have anything in mind until after the day is over and you look back at them. Surely something will come to mind. You just need a new perspective!

Good luck~~ janis

It seems when we are pressured, THAT'S when we freeze up.  Janis's suggestion is good.  As you drive down the road, your favorite park, restaurant, a statue, retail outlet in your specific marketing neighborhood would be good.

I've got the opposite problem right now....I have the ideas but no time.  I'm lucky to be here commenting right now.  I'm sure you will come up with something...you used Seinfeld for inspiration, how about another TV show favorite??

Hi Sharon, I was coming back from one of my girls softball practices last weekend in Fullerton.  We drove past a restaraunt, the sign said...and I am not kidding...CHINESE ISLAMIC Restaraunt.  I remember saying I should have had my camera with me...that could have been a good one huh!  Thanks for stopping in:)

Ana, this is not a big deal, just re-blog, re-blog, re-blog. I am sure when searching for the good blog to re-post you will find lots of inspiration!

Ana, I know I'm responding to this post a little late, but I've been going through a bit of a block myself.  Mostly because I've been to busy to get a new post up every day or even comment as much as I want to.

Hi Nick! Thanks for poppin in.  Being busy is a good thing!  You got to pay for your groceries right!

Between the block and having a lot of irons in the fire it is hard to keep up with AR. My family keeps me plenty busy too and I recently added a regular radio gig to my schedule. I miss spending time here and when I do it is usually late at night and I am too sleepy to participate in a quality manner.  I face book some as I can do that from my phone but I don't really like it much, it's kind of my least favorite thing on the to do list but everyone says it's a necessary evil LOL.  When softball season slows down I am going to buckle down and catch up....I miss your music clips...take care

Ana
