Brent,
Welcome to AR.
Who are your parents/grandparents? I knew many local REALTORS® before moving west in 1984.
I know your area well having lots of relatives in the area (Cranes). I grew up in Rosebush and Portage, my wife's from Paw Paw. As a kid I spent a lot time in Muskegon, fishing from the pier.

Hi Bill,
My dad was Roy Link. He was with Barth Wurtz and then Wurtz & Galy and Westdale's Better Homes & Gardens before he went on his own about 1976.
My Grandpa was Elliott Link and he was an agent here in the 50's
Brent,
Small world! I was with Westdale in Kalamazoo, in ‘73 and ‘74.
See my blog:
The Lesson! I'll bet your father tells a similar story about the same event. I probably met your father. I wouldn't have know your Grandparents, in the 50's my interest was my horse. I opened my first two offices, in Kalamazoo November 24, 1976.
I'd been out here many years when I hired my long term loan processor, who was also from Muskegon.

Hi Bill,
That is an interesting story. I don't remember it but I imagine my dad would have. There is a guy in our office who was selling with my dad at the time. I will ask him if he was with Westdale at the time.
Enjoy the next couple weeks.
Brent
Brent,
Welcome to Active Rain. I like your "Weather at my house". Very Cool.
Thanks.
I have been plowing snow for the last 25 seasons as well as excavating and pouring concrete so weather has always been import to me. Not so much anymore but I still enjoy watching it.
