There's something about a blue sky that makes you smile. Maui blue skies!

After spending a few days in the cloudy gloomy weather of Vancouver, it was nice to come back to Maui and see bright blue skies and puffy white clouds, and feel the sun on my skin.  It's something we take for granted here in Hawaii, and I can really appreciate it now. Please enjoy these sunny skies if you're needing some sunshine in your day.

Pictures were taken in Paia, Haiku and Kahului Maui with my ever present iPhone.

Don't get me wrong, I love going to Vancouver and think it's a great place, but... miss my Maui sunshine and warm weather especially at this time of year.

I have to agree, blue skies ROCK! After 17 years in Europe, with LONG winters and gray skies, I LOVE BLUE SKIES AND SUNSHINE! It makes you happy, makes you smile and it is impossible to be depressed when the sun is shining!!!!

Sooo great! As always, your pics make me smile. Hard to believe they were taken with an iphone. A few could be postcards. Makes me long to return to the islands. Having loved Maui and Lanaii, my next trip will have to include Kauai.
