Well that number you see, well in most cases it has nothing to do with the value of your home.  That’s determined by the comparable homes that have sold in your subdivision in the last 6 months or so. So when you think of selling your home don’t count yourself out by simply going by that figure you see on your yearly assessment, get an opinion from a realtor.
