During the holiday season, there are so many posts reminding us to be thankful...to give...to celebrate! Sometimes, though, it seems an impossible thing to do those things. Sometimes even to be happy. I cannot say that I am there right now. I do not even know that I can say I have ever been that down. I tend to be an eternal optimist. I also believe part of my calling in this life is to encourage others. So, I will leave those of you aho are stressed out, tired, hurt, lost, alone, and discouraged with just this one thought. I learned it many, many years ago. I trust it's meaning implicitly.
"Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you." ~ 1st Peter 5:7
He went to the cross caring for you. Not just for me, but for you. For your disappointments, your sins, your failures, your losses, and even your life. Even if you cannot celebrate right now, I pray that these words will inspire you to trust and to continue on by just placing one foot in front of the other. HE CARES FOR YOU! And so do I...
