The Trump Group [is planning to develop] The Mansions of Acqualina with average unit sizes of 4,000 square feet and 8,000 square foot penthouses - so there will be a significant improvement in tax revenues collected by the city. ‘Elevating Sales’
Overall, the South Florida condo boom has generated nearly $4.1 billion in developer sales of newly created units in Sunny Isles Beach as of Sept. 30, 2011, according to a xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx study reporting: “Between 2003 and the third quarter of 2011, developers sold more than 9.2 million square feet of condo space in Sunny Isles Beach.
Since 2003, developers have brought 27 developments with nearly 6,400 units to the Sunny Isles Beach market; and prior to the boom, developers built nearly 60 projects with 12,000 units in the city.
