CREATIVE CLASSES FOR KIDS at the Arts Center at the Old Library                 Address:  1006 Penn, La Grande, OR  97850    541-624-2800.

 

EXPLORING 3-D ART,     Four Wednesdays,   February 8-29,   4-5 pm

The primary medium of this class is clay, however, we will also learn how to create sculptures by combining found objects and traditional art materials.  We will learn to sculpt with clay and build handmade ceramic pots.  Ages 6-11.  Cost  $30 members, $40 non-members.  Instructor:  Jessie Street.

Day 38 – February 7, 2012, Tuesday

Tomorrow evening!   SEWING BASICS

4 Wednesdays  6 – 7:30 pm,  February 8, 15, 22, 29

The first two weeks will be spent learning basic stitches and sewing techniques including buttons, button holes, zippers and hems.  The remaining classes will combine all learned skills in a small sewing project.  Cost $35 members, $45 non-members.  Instructor:  Heather Tomlinson.
