The stroll is free - however, donations of canned food, diapers, unwrapped gifts and personal care items are welcomed and can be dropped off when you stroll past City Hall.

Sounds like a great time. I do think we have that in our area but I never went. I have a problem with the cold weather, especially when it is dark out. However, one day I will have to do it..Have some fun and forget about the cold, right? Happy Holidays

Barbara Jo and Bill  It IS that time of year again.  This is a magical event.  With almost 30,000 people with candles and caroling -- it is just beautiful!  It really brings back the true meaning and spirit of the holiday season!  I find it the best event of the season.  Maybe we can get you to visit New Hampshire  --- Nah, I am sure you don't want to leave the sun in Florida -- Happy Thanksgiving.

Michelle:  You have the right idea!  Simply bundle up -- and enjoy the stroll.  You can pop in and out of the shops and restaurants and warm up.  I haven't check the weather forecast yet -- Perhaps in the case ignorance is bliss!  Happy Thanksgiving.

George  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving -- if you get bored, you can come and visit us in New Hampshire!   I don't get many taking up that offer once it starts to snow here!  I think there is no snow in the forecast for the weekend, so it should be a lot of fun!

Jay --  If you and Monika can get to the stroll, I am sure you will love it.  It is a wonderful event and it really gets everyone in the holiday mood.  I also love singing the X-mas carols -- lol  - on the other hand, you may not want to be standing too close when I am singing!

I am sure you are enjoying some great weather in Flagstaff!  I do love this event -- it's just a matter of bundling up!  I think it isn't supposed to be too cold.  -- As for the Presidential Candidates -- it will be interesting to see who shows up!  Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for taking the time to comment!

Hi Joan,
We had our "Shopping by Candlelight" a few weekends ago and it was well attended and all the shops were beautifully decorated.  What a great way to start the Christmas season.  I hope this one in your area goes well.
