Yesterday I wrote a blog about The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that LITTLE EXTRA.
And today that little extra worked out.

That extra effort got me a buyer today.  The listing agent didn't want to show their listing so the buyer called me... He called me yesterday on my listing and ended up not wanting to see it and didn't want information on other properties or to work with anyone specific.  They were just looking to see whats out there and wanted NO commitment to an agent.  But with me willing to show him my listing yesterday he called me today about this other listing.  It was an hour drive each way but I have them as buyers and meeting first thing tomorrow morning to write an offer.  We talked about the next steps and they signed the Business relationship with me due to my willing to show them what the wanted.  I was shocked that the listing agent did not want to show it to them at all.
That is The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that LITTLE EXTRA.

Very nicely said!  I've told my agents this many times and will tell them many times in the future I'm sure.

Bill, it did end up working out.  We have the house in escrow right now AND his dad is looking for a house so I'm currently show him houses to buy.

Yvonne and Sharon, I always try to go that extra mile in real estate.  That extra mile is where are the good things in life are.

Cameron, You are the steering wheel of your team, Wherever you turn your whole team is going to go in that direction.  So it's best if you lead by example by going that extra mile.

Candice, they say it takes 21 day to form a habit.  If we go that extra mile in real estate for 21 days straight; prospecting (calls/door knocking), doing extra marketing on our listings (online and offline), writing blogs, branding ourselves, calling past clients, etc... then after about a month it will seem normal so then we can step it up again and go another extra mile and step up our game again.
