E-Waste Collection: February 25 @ 8:00 am– 1:00 pm

A free e-waste collection event will be held at the City's Corporation Yard, 592 Superior Avenue. E-waste consists of working and non-working personal computers, laptops, cell phones, telephones, fax machines, computer peripherals (such as monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, and cables), consumer electronics (including radios, tape players, VCRs, stereo equipment, and PDAs), and televisions of any size. CERT Training – Spring Classes: February 28 @ 7:00 pm and March 3 @ 8:30 am

The Spring Program, free to Newport Beachresidents, is about to start. Over the course of the program, you will learn important information about preparing your families and neighborhoods for emergencies. This training is important because city emergency service personnel will not be readily available to individual neighborhoods in the earliest hours, or perhaps days, of a disaster.
