I hate to complain..... but I will. As the listing agent on a short sale transaction where all the problems are on the buyer's side - and let's face it, it's not the buyer's fault - it would be nice if the selling agent - ahem - would at least PRETEND to care, PRETEND to participate, PRETEND to actually earn the commission for the work I've had to do to cover for him. Seriously, every time I call the dude, he's at the zoo, park or God-knows-where with screaming kids in the background. When I finally called him out on it and asked if he was going to help out, he had the nerve to yell at ME!! Whaaaaaaat????
Yes, Mr. Buyer's Agent, this is a much smaller commission than you might be used to receiving. And is that really the point? I mean I have a seller here who's already moved because you said we were closing the last week in December, but you really never had a clue, did you?
And, I'm sure you have a lovely first time buyer who is anxiously awaiting moving into their new home and putting on the elbow grease to make this house a home.
And where are you?? Petting the giraffes? Hope you're having a nice day while I pick up the pieces.
