It's here. The Zero-emission Honda FCX - a fuel cell powered vehicle that emits only clean water vapor! This vehicle is here, and ready for the road! Honda will be releasing a limited number of these vehicles for lease to Sothern Californians during the summer of 2008. (Lucky Californians!!) If you live outside the Southern California area, more will be rolling out soon, as more hydrogen refueling options become available. Honda is also developing Home Energy Stations for refueling at home! This is AWESOME! I think within a few years, these will be widely available, and I think this technology has the potential to make gasoline powered vehicles OBSOLETE! (Let's all hope so, with gasoline being around $3.35 per gallon, with no relief in sight)

I hope they put it out with a leather interior, navigation system and super sound system! I'll be in the market in another couple of years, and this is a way for me to offset my beloved, although gas guzzling, Lexus!

Thanks for this posting! I don't have cable TV in my home and hadn't heard about the ads for this lovely little creation. I checked out the Honda site... too bad I'm too far south here in San Diego. I guess I'll have to wait to test one out.
The aerodynamic design is rather stylish... though I'm not into having a red car (only option). The heated seats are an eco-friendly fabric instead of leather. The sound system and various plugs (usb, aux input as well as what looks like a power outlet in the center console) make this car tech ready.
Even with the $600/month lease, I'm interested to take this baby for a spin when it heads south! I know my next car will be more environmentally friendly!
