I attended an open house the other day, and there was an incredible turn out.  I counted about 40 agents.  The open house was given by Team Renton and the builders of Dogwood Trace in Villa Rica, Georgia, off  Herrel Rd.  The open house was catered by Iron Horse BBQ.  Definitely some of the best BBQ in the south.  At the open house the agents had the opportunity to win a Plasma TV but in order to do so they had to find key words in select homes in the community.  They then submitted their business card with the keywords they had found to be eligible for the drawing.

    The winner of the drawing was Miles Bush. www.bushfamilyrealty.com  The prize could of not gone to a more deserving and devoted agent.  Miles is a FULLTIME agent with more than 12 years under his belt.  He makes real-estate a family affair since it runs in his blood .His Father George Bush was the president and broker of George Bush Realty in southern California.  His current team is also a great family affair, his wife helps him she is bilingual, fluent in Spanish and that always comes in handy.  It was an honor to meet such a successful agent you could feel his passion for real-estate.  Miles is a Father of 9 kids and grandfather to 15 grandchildren. 

    What is commendable is that instead of complaining about how bad the market is Miles and the other FULLTIME agents are out there becoming experts of their area.  Miles has an incredible background, his Army experience during Vietnam as a public affairs rep for the combat engineers as well as his radio and TV experience in St. Louis and most importantly his love of Georgia have all translated in to making him an awesome agent as well as a lucky Realtor.  

    To all the agents that show up and participate regardless of market conditions I want to thank you.  When my customers work with great agents the home buying experience is beautiful during and after the sale.  Agents that are experts in their area have a great ability to match a customers need with the right house in the area that is best for their customer.  Miles Bush is a great example of what is good about real-estate.
