Al & Peggy, sometimes kids don't learn or grow up for several years...spoiled self induldged...
Al/Peggy: Wow, so glad I never had to go through anything like this with my girls. Good for the dad...he made a hardline stand!
Al and Peggy, I watched this even though I do not have children. Hard to be a parent. Good when parents care, set limits and stick by them.
Gloria
Al and Peggy... This is so great! IF more parents would take a stand like this guy well the world would be a much better place! SUGGESTED in hopes of getting all parents attention!
I feel bad for that father and his daughter. It's really sad. I have two boys growing and I hope that I never run into a situation such as this. :(
Good evening, Al & Peggy. How tragic for both parents and the daughter. Did he over react? I think so. There a more mature way for him to handle the situation...
I bet it would also be appropriate for a real estate team in Brampton Canada as well.
While I think it was a bit of over reaction, I also feel his frustration... I just hope she doesn't feel totally suppressed that she ups and runs away.
Debbie it must be very difficult raising a teen right now. Very difficult.
We hear you Nick, very sad.
He sure did that Anita. We were very lucky not to have gone through something like this as well.
Gloria, guess this what you call tough luck.
We think this will go viral on Youtube John. Would have liked to have seen the daughter's reaction to this.
Lindsey we wish you the best of luck. This is really sad.
Think the letter must have pushed him over the edge Michael. The hair on the camel's back.....
Ed, ???????
Oh, Peggy, that would be tramatic!
WOW, that is for sure a sign of a father at the end of his rope. You can tell he is completely frustrated. I wonder if that really is his daughter's lap top, or do you think he brought one home from work to scare her???
Al and Peggy - While I don't agree with his response I certainly can understand his frustrations ..... I wonder how much of the attitude of some kids today is a result of the attitude of their parents ..... the acorn usually does not fall far from the tree ....
Al & Peggy, my daughter had one friend who prompted a letter not as bad as this, but not her words all the same. She no longer is her friend, and I have my daughter back!
Hi Al and Peggy
brilliant, very good video, and an real true reflection of the disconnect between kids perspecption of their hard life and reality.....but I must admit when we where that age not so sure if we where all that different.
Raising children today is hard. Today's children live in an instant gratification world . . . and I have seen many who no respect for adults or what they have. I am going to have to share this video.
Until the dad rolled up the paper and threw it on on the ground with his cigarette but and then took out a gun, I thought he had a little credibility. The daughter is obviously ANGRY and somehow ENTITLED, but I wonder where she learned such extreme behavior????????
Al and Peggy, that is going to be one miserable little lady. It might of been a better idea to of had her watch the video on her laptop before putting those bullets in it :)
Al & Peggy, the frustrations of the world for parents and children can be the worst feeling in the world, and here is evidence of it. I have to admit, I was cheering for him when watching the video. Then I wondered what group would go after him for doing that... And then I realized how glad I am that my girls are grown. I sure feel for my daughters though as I think what things lay ahead of them with their kids. Then I remembered how much hell they put me through... LOL.... and thought back to what my dad said once when I was complaining to him about my girls behavior years ago. He said.... ahhh... payback... isn't it fun?
Wow, was he fed up!
Then I winced as he shot the laptop... a perfectly good laptop.... LOL.
Let's hope it was an old laptop otherwise what a waste, the daughter's could have been donated.
Not sure on this one Kathy. But there definitely is a lot of frustration going on.
Glad to hear that Ellen. Kids are influenced by their friends good or bad.
Disconnect, good way of putting Peter and Linda. Well am ashamed to say we may have uttered the similar remarks when we were kids.
Instant gratification for sure Michele, and expected instant gratification!
Joanna you're right the last actions of the Dad were over the top, but wow, the frustration going on there.
That's what we thought at first George and then realized the humiliation the daughter was going to feel when her friends showed her the video!
Yes, Andrea same issues over and over the generations. Agree also we thought he should have donated the laptop, maybe to the daughter's worst enemy!
Al and Peggy, all I can say is, I feel sorry for the laptop. It didn't deserve this treatment. Hope you guys have a great weekend!
Interesting... the comments are too.
