What a well written sermon? I love the subject matter and I loved the lesson....he should be a Blogger!

He does tell a good story. You know, it's the approach that rabbis are taught to use in their teachings. I've always thought it a far better approach than most of the ministers use that I've been exposed to over the years.

Interestingly, for many years I was a member of a very large Rotary Club. Clergy from about every faith were members of the club. Nevertheless, when we had our St. Valentine's meeting and our spouses were invited, the least likely always happened: Rabbi Jimmy Kessler was always the speaker and he always told us about St. Valentine and wove it into one of his stories about love.

If he believed in Christ, he would make a great Episcopalian.
