QR codes haver not caught on as fast as many thought; however, with every new conference, summit, sales rally the use of QR codes in your business becomes more of the norm.  For example, many franchise companies will generate a QR code for each listing.  Further, smartphones outsold personal computers last year for the first time in history!

What does all this mean and where am I going with this?

Probably a good idea to be aware of this possibility:

I like them for getting me to a product's info quickly...same reason I like to use them on my listings. It just takes the consumer to my site quicker than typing in an address - no mistakes when typing in the address if you use a QR code

Thinking outside the box

I love QR codes and have been using them for over a year now.

It gives you the ability to deliver unlimited amounts of information that you otherwisw could not present on any one pice of paper, sign, or post card.

The amasing thing about this new idea is that it is FREE. What's better than that? I think the idea will grow and become part of our every day marketing.

Of course until the next inovation in technology comes along.

I think the younger generations have already caught onto QR Codes it is only a matter of time before they become commonplace.

Wouldn't you know when we have a good marketing tool, someone tries to mess it up.  I put QR codes on all my flyers.

We are using them on all our listings - EcoFlyers and sign riders.  Rob, you are right.  Recently, our pastor's sermon notes at church have become downloadable via QR code as you enter the sanctuary or scan the bulletin.  How cool is that?  They are definitely catching on, and not just with the younger generation.
