Call for Mardi Gras Parade Float Entries
 
 
 

Enter a float in the Breckenridge Mardi Gras parade for a chance to win cash, lift tickets and prizes. Entry is free and the procession takes place at 4:30 p.m. on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 21. Cash prizes are as follows: first: $500, second: $300, third: $200. Registration closes at 5 p.m on Feb. 20.

Hazel Miller will perform at the annual Bacchus Ball, a mountain masquerade party that celebrates carnival season Feb. 18 at the Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center, 620 Village Road. Tickets include a New Orleans-style buffet and are available now for $55 each or $100 per couple; they can be purchased by calling (970) 453-5055 or at the Breckenridge Welcome Center, 203 S. Main St.

Mardi Gras in Colorado sounds like a neat adventure to attend.  The Bacchus Ball will be great fun and is priced well too.
