These are tough times and good jobs are hard to come across. Many of you may be able to use a little extra cash but would also like to get involve with your surroundings. Well, I found this bit of information that could be helpful if you are a Bellingham resident.
Our town is now accepting resumes for appointed positions on ten boards, councils and committees.
First, three-year positions are available. One position on the Board of Assessors, one position on the Cemetery Committee, two positions on the Commission on Disability, three positions on the Conservation Commission, five positions on the Council on Aging, two positions on the Historical Commission, one position on the Parks and Recreation Committee, two positions on the Town Common Trustees, and two alternate positions on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Second, a regular five-year term is available on the Zoning Board of Appeals. One one-year position is also available on the Norfolk County Advisory Board.
Resumes should be submitted to the committee on which the resident would like to serve. Stop by the Bellingham Town Hall for more details. Our friendly Town Clerk Ann Odabashian will be happy to direct you to the right department if needed. Tell her I sent you!
Make a difference!
