In search of a Muttar Paneer recipe!

Or it may be that I am asking for the wrong thing... it may be more of a marsala sauce that I'm looking for.  I like the creamy, saucy version with peas or mushrooms and paneer.  Can anyone help?  The best explanation I get from the restaurant is that it's a tomato gravy with an onion gravy.  : )  I can buy the paneer at an Indian market nearby so I really just need a good sauce.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Chris,

I "googled" it:  http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_35408,00.html  hope it helps.  My daughter is a vegitarian so we have East Indian food often--have you had the spinach dish yet--it is wonderful even though it looks nasty!

Chris - excellent request for a recipe you have there!  It would never have occurred to me to ask here on Active Rain - why not?!

Leslie, you are gooood - finding that recipe.  You're right, it looks horrid, but it is sooooo good.

Jackie - Yes, I figured with 58,000 members, what the heck?!

Leslie - thanks so much!  I'll try that one.  I do love the spinach dish as well.

I LOVE Indian food.  But I can't afford to go out for dinner as much as I'd like, so I need to get working on some recipes for home!

Thanks!

Hi Chris,
I was about to give you the recipe but saw Leslie had Googled Food Network so I took a look at that one.   It  almost identical to one I have.  Enjoy!
