Some of you will tell me where I can put it. LOL and Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!!
But I want to speak with the rest of you that are wanting to figure out the best resources to post your brand.
•1. Internet- What a great place, with blogging and the natural word search engines, your brand will be recognized in no time.
•2. Publication Print- In comparison with Blogging, and much more expensive, if you have the right "catch phrase" then you will get a lot of attention with your certain brand. Might I suggest having this "ad" point the viewer to your www and .com?
•3. Tracking of your brand with the use of Track able Toll Free numbers?
•4. Having various extensions on your different ads. For example, Homes and Land might carry the extension with the preceding number of "2". Some other publication might start the extension number with a "3" and so on. Postcards might be a "1" and flyers that are on signs at particular properties might be a "4".
By doing this you will be able to track your brand and how and where the public sees it, and also how they are responding to your brand. Once you establish six months of tracking, this will do your listing and sales presentations extremely proud. You will now not only have had a plan. You will be able to provide tangible information to sellers and buyers on how you are operating your business. The strength of your brand and this is the reason you should be chosen. Also, you will be practically alone in this particular field.
I appreciate very much the foundations of Real Estate advertising. Without those staples we would have never had gotten off of the ground.
•A But today things are moving a bit faster than when I first started with the MLS sheets being delivered to the office in huge folders having been printed off a dot matrix printer on tractor fed paper.
•B. Appointments having to be made several days in advance.
•C. Offers being presented directly to the seller and seller's agent with you sitting by the side of your buyers.
•D. Fax machines not being trusted due to them being "new" technology.
•E. MS dos being new when Broker Loading Listings, but not trusted as far as some could throw it.
•F. $19 bucks to the MLS department so they could input your listing from the sheet you mailed or dropped off to them.
ON and ON.... Some of you that started before me, and have been around longer remember this.
I LOVE THIS JOB!!!

New Ad Words: Paris911 Not French - Just real good Real Estate!!!
I won't tell YOU where to put it :) I will say that I have used the internet and always have our website address on everything that goes out of our office and in our print ads. I haven't used the trackable toll free number - may be something to consider.
I can remember coming into this business from corporate america and wondering why a faxed signature could not be accepted. I took them all the time while in corporate. It wasn't too long that it became the norm. The new thing then was an e signature...again, used in corporate, but we in real estate had to wait, now it's acceptable.
With all the tech changes, there are so many ways we can brand ourselves. It can be confusing and consuming, but should be well worth it in the long run!
P.S. - Happy Thanksgiving
