I received a comment on my Do You Rate post from Loreena Yeo, a self-confessed new blogger. Loreena got me to thinking and I thought I would take a moment to offer a couple of recommendations.

Take it Slow – Like everything connected to the Internet – the connectivity can quickly lead to feeling overwhelmed. So, take it slow – focus on one or two things until you are comfortable with them and then move on. Give yourself at least six months to develop your voice, style and expertise.

Curt Rosengren over at my new favorite magazine, MOTTO, writing on Passionate Work  offers some good advice for all Slow down and look at where you're going

Now that we've paused to adjust our orientation it's time to look into a couple of mega-resources. Take it slow with these, there's a lot to explore and  exploring  all of it will benefit you.
