Larry, love it! It's sad that as much as both he and Elvis were loved for their talent, they couldn't seem to love themselves.
Thanks for sharing!!
What can be said!?!?!?! A true game changer for the music industry and our culture. MJ helped define pop "king of pop" actually and an unexpected and terribly tragic loss when he passed away.
This goes to show even the worst of situations (his family life and relationship with his dad) can bring out the best in people... but for a limited time... without God
The man changed the industry. I always wished I could moonwalk like him. :)
Thanks Larry.
I never got that moon-walking down either Tom. Elvis was the king of rock, MJ the king of pop!
YOu know how I ADORE MJ!!! I love this clip and remember this night...it was like nothing anyone had ever seen...I miss him dearly!
Larry:
What an Awesome Choice of Video...Hope you don't mind. I am going to reblog it...Thanks!
Hi Larry, I just joined your new Group. I would love to share some tunes with this wonderful group. Thanks for reminding us about Michael. I grew up praising James Brown as the King of Soul, then Michael came along to earn the title King of Pop. He took everything that James Brown had, and put it on an all New Level.
He was awesome!
I remember this like it was yesterday! When he started moonwalikng everyone in the room was amazed...still no one like Michael jackson!
Thanks for reminding us how old we are. I was a already out of the Navy and onto life and first wife when this came out. Now he's a legend and so is my first marriage.
This brings back a lot of memories... So sad to lose talented stars like Michael and Whitney. I hope they are making music in heaven.
