I'm sorry, but I'm not in the real estate mode today.

I am thinking about the service men and women serving out country.  I am thinking about the fact that I have 3 wonderful children and that I still have my parents,

As many of you know, my father has a fast growing Brain Cancer. As I go through this day, knowing my parents are very religous people, as am I on my own...G*d takes the one's he needs...

Or not, sometimes, I feel G*d leave's people here on earth to fulfill his prophesy! I am not a real religious person ( I used to play the paino and organ for my church until I went to college---so), shame on me...I just pray on my own...if you want to know..my feelings, email me...love,

Many of us are Christians, some are not...no matter, this is non-secular.

Life is short, enjoy your family and friends...don't ever assume...rejoice each day...appreciate what you have...it could be here today, and gone tomorrow..

I beat Renal Cell Cancer in March 2001 - so...I guess I do trust G*d.

Live life, Love who you want...tell them...you love them...loving is great....it never hurt - anyone...

Karen,

Much to much we take things for granted, and every now and then we need something to smack us in the face to remind us not to. It is a wonderful world, and we must take the time to appreciate each moment and everyone that we can share it with!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I thank God everyday for the people I have in my life.  Today we spoke about what we were thankful for and I am thankful for all my blessings! My family, friends, home, job, love......basically everything we have in our life!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Mary

My father has end stage renal failure (aka Kidney Disease), and although its treatable through dialysis and a possible transplant, I overheard him tell a friend that through all of it he feels closer to G*d than ever before.  I know today, it may very well be possible he is actually thankful for it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Karen.

Kris,

Thank you.

I hope you had a wonderful day! I do need to go up to PA, for myself.  I should practice more of what I preach.  I tell my children to do what I need to do myself...It's just hard to leave with 5 active buyers...especially in this market...But as Simon told me, I need to adjust my priorities...this time, for my family situation.

Karen – Great post!  Especially at this time of year when we all get a more sentimental anyway (well, I know I do anyway!)  In fact, seeing that you are from Florida just adds to my sentimentality today.  I spent one Thanksgiving weekend in Cocoa Beach with my brother who had just been moved there by his company.  We had a fantastic time riding our bikes up and down the beach and the riverfront, taking pictures of the big houses.  One day we went in search of a good crab dinner and ended up having appetizers at one restaurant, drinks at another and finally our main course at a little dive that happened to have some awesome crab!  The next Thanksgiving, my daughter had just been born, so my brother traveled out to Las Vegas to spend time with me there.  That was the last time I ever got to see him in this world.  He passed away the very next February, (almost two years now…wow, time flies.)  He was only 22 years old at the time of his death.  Thanks for your post and for the reminder to cherish the time we have and make the most of every second!!!

By the way, thank you for your comments on my little rant on Calie Waterhouse’s post the other day.  I just posted a new comment to her blog with instructions on how to colorize and otherwise spice up your blogs and comments.  To get there quickly, click here: http://activerain.com/blogsview/279685/An-Open-Letter-to.  Hope that helps!
