Drive- Thru Real Estate?

By
Real Estate Agent with TOVIJE Enterprises, Inc.

Our office location  in Englewood, Florida is in an out building at a shopping center. The building was previously a bank. When we moved into this new location, the company decided to maintain the drive-thru window and use it as a marketing tool.  We are located on a busy, main thoroughfare through town. Our main monument sign reads, "Drive-thru Real Estate, Free Maps".

While our drive-thru is not as busy as a bank, we do get a considerable amount of drive-thru traffic for maps/directions and occassionally a REALTOR driving thru to pick up paperwork. Of course we keep that area fully stocked with maps, our Chamber of Commerce magazine, REALTOR business cards, information on the Sunshine Kids (www.prudentialfloridawci.com/thesunshinekids.asp  ) a variety of candy and pet treats.

It is a great novelty for our business and the only one of its kind in our two county area. (By the way, the old vault is now our conference room and one of the safest places to be during a hurricane!)

Does anyone else have an unusual location or unique point of difference in their office set-up or design?

how neat is that...what an innovative use of something that would normally be looked at as...what do we do with this?

 Very Innovative!

Cool.   That beats my fishing pond.  But I will be able to report soon, with pics on our grand opening of the new office and Doggie days of summer.  Since I have an Acre of land, we are going to host dog play days. The uh...leftovers can go in the back of the pond.

That really is clever, was that your idea?. My building was built for my office,.. pretty boring.

There is a competitive office in my home town that is a converted old house with lots of neat woodwork; floor, ceiling, stairs, banisters, all over and quite old. It was obviously built for wealthier people.

Well I guess mine counts. My office is the downstairs of my house. I live on one of the highest points in Florida overlooking 100s of acres of orange groves and a small private lake. The downstairs was built in 1988 and the upstairs used to be a stilt home at the fish camp on the other side of the lake. It was built in 1946 and then picked up and set on top of my downstairs in 1988. On the rare occassions that I meet customers at my office we meet outside under the Oak tree at the lake on the picnic table. Florida at it's finest.

What a wonderful use of a drive-in! Great way to set yourself apart in marketing as well.

We used to be in a bank building too and the vault was only big enough for the files and copy machines but yes a great place for heavy storm activity.  Wish we had a drive through what original use of the area ..like the fish story ...it has to be fun!
