Chile Ristras are seen hanging in many stores, shops, restaurants and homes all around the Albuquerque area. We have two large chile ristras hanging at our front door year round. They meaning for some is Mi Casa Es Su Casa or My Home is Your Home. It is not uncommong to keep a chile ristra in their kitchen for a quick dash of spice when cooking, others hang them for their eye catching decor. Chile Ristra’s are just another unique Southwest touch you will find in and around Albuquerque.
