Office closes

Realty RI.com Is Closed

According to the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation, Edward and Tracie Kedzierski have surrendered their real estate licenses to DBR and have closed both the Newport Rental Guide and Realty RI.com. They informed DBR that they have released their listings and clients. As a result, neither Ms.or Mr. Kedzierski may act engage in the practice of real estate as a licensed real salesperson or broker, according to DBR.

Why did they surrender their licenses? I'm confused. I did read the article about commissions.

Interesting. I don't know how the others get away with it. It seems very wrong to me.

Either they did something wrong or they just couldn't make it. Maybe discount brokers are on the way out? I don't know how anybody can make it at those rates, unless they're not compenating the buyer's agent.
