The November New Hampshire Real Estate Market Trend Report was just released by the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS.

Peter Francese who is an extremely knowledgeable man, sees good reason to be thankful over all.

However in my market area Rockingham County, I can’t fully agree. He says that on average NH residential sales price is off less than one percent…again that is an average.

I can tell you that in certain pockets of the state the list to sold price ratio is dramatic. The reality in the field is that many many agents in New Hampshire are feeling less than thankful as they struggle to help their clients get their homes sold.

We’ve said it before and we'll say it again…it’s not a good time to be a seller but a great time to be a buyer. Buyers in New Hampshire have choices available...selections like we've not seen in years.

Peter says that "New Hampshire has good reason to be thankful but perhaps not content"....read more here

Moni - I don't know where Peter lives but if he looks close to the southern NH market prices are being reduced all over the place and more than 1%.

Sometimes the market reports are just not right. Especially when I read, here in MI that our economy is growing nationwide, I just laugh. We must be the part that is keeping it to 3%

Judy..I hear you. 1% is not my reality.

Missy...I think sometimes these state wide averages are simply unrealistic.

Honey...LOL I 've been holding out on you :)

Monika - I saw that report the other day, and was glad he saw positive things, but I saw some of what you saw.  A mixed bag for sure, is what I walked away with after reading his report a couple of times.

I thought Peter lived in Exeter, unless he very recently moved here......

Monika - If your market is off only 1% then that's pretty good, but from what I've read of your posts and others who live in your area then his report seems off.

Monika - In my marketplace I too think the average and median price is off when I consider the price reductions.  Anyway you are right, it is a great time to buy.
