OK....this is not about real estate, but it is definitely a major thorn in my side, and I bet it is in yours as well. Go ahead, go thru a drive thru fast food place and try to get all your change.
Not one but every darned one of them will hand you your paper money, with receipt on top of that and change on top of that. You cannot help but drop the coins on the ground.
Why do they do that? Back in the day they used to actually count your change back to you. That was before a computerized cash machine started telling them the answer. Have we just ruined our children to the point that they cannot even count someone's change.
And what school did they all attend to learn to hand money back that way?
