6 Comments on Whitney Houston. Rest in Peace.
John, she was indeed a great artist in her time. May she rest in peace. She will be missed.
John, I've seen many posts this evening about Whitney's death. A real shocker for certain. It's sad that someone so talented and successful could not find happiness. It will be interesting to see what her cause of death was.
It is a shame with all that talent she, like Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, and many others just cannot handle their fame. Sad, sad, sad.
Beverley, she is most definitely missed.
Kathleen, I think she must have found happiness. Watch any of her videos and see her smile when she sang.... So beautiful. Drugs and alcohol I have a feeling were the end of her.
Jane, Jane, Jane. For me, 20 years ago, it was all about Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. Any one of their songs from that period in 1992-1993 still tears me apart. See my previous post.
John,
I was at a meeting when my phone buzzed (breaking news!) and thought it was a joke. What a crying shame! We've lost another treasure.
So many treasures lost Pacita. It's good to hear kindred souls who feel the same.
