Wow Desiree!  I have to go back and read your other blog.  This is incredible.  What a great way to bring in the holidays.

Renee -It was alot of fun and as the word gets out more and more I expect numbers to increase... I am going to need about a half dozen more people helping next year.    In addition too those in the picture I had 4 others and it was tough... but we well persevere!!!!!!!   

Desiree, It takes courage to host an event like that especially in your home.  We did it for years in historic home in the DC area with a caterer - it worked wonders, Karen

Elaine - Santa lives for these events.    He works hard to maintain his look and gears up for the season early with a visit to a salon in NYC.    His goal is to make it as the Macy's Day Parade Santa and then he will retire his suit... 

Hi Dez - what a really great picture that is of all of you.  And that Santa is beautiful - look at his face and expression.  He makes me think of those classic Santa pictures!

I LOVE this idea - how wonderful for all involved and good for you for having all those folks into your home.  I'd be surprised if this didn't come back to you many times over......way to go!

Congratulations on your resounding success, Dez!  I really wanted to mimic your event here in Scottsdale this year, but I failed to buckle down and get it done.  I am already looking forward to doing it next year, as it will be a great tie-in to my wife's activity group for children.  Well done!

Ant - I told ya sister get on it... do it within your office.   Run the show its well worth it.   And yes that is the youngster... actually that was from last christmas... she's huge now and the baby is over a year. <sigh>

Paul -It works great as a fund raiser too.   This year we got a little tied up with other things, but next year we will ask for donations for the local soup kitchen.

Glad this went so well.  Did you deliver the pies that week too?  That would be a busy week.  Happy to report that I did deliver the pies, I have been so busy I have not been able to post on that (I started writing something pre-pie delivery but have not yet finished), but thanks for driving home these ideas.  

Desiree - What a great turnout. Santa looks perfect! He should be in the Macy's parade but I would hate to hear of him retiring, he is definitely a natural! Great idea, I can't wait till my new home is built so I can hold a big event like this at my home for my clients! I'll proabably be e-mailing you before next Christmas for your advice on how to start my Christmas Party off with a bang.

Dez - This is a fantassssssssssssstic post! Somehow we are not on the same schedule, I turn for one day you hit 'post' four times somehow!! How do I keep missing you? I think this picture is darling of Santa and your team! Great time by all it seems! What a wonderful gesture to your past and future clients. I know how much work this can be to take on!! I have done my share of parties and events...you go Santa's little helper!! I am disappointed I didn't see Al in green leotards and pointy ears!!

Steve- Another great "in your face" event.  Glad you did the pies and it was a success.  We cut back on them this year since alot of the people were here for Santa but they were done last week too.   Now I need a vacation!

Kelly- We were all beat up by the end the team still hates me for taking the photo after especially since some of the local papers picked up the story and are running it.

What a cool idea and event Desiree. And here I thought Santa only fired up that sleigh with the reindeer on Christmas eve. I guess he needs the extra cash for Mrs. Santa with the rising fuel costs and higher reindeer feed prices!
