After writing "The Road Less Traveled.....The Aloha" story I knew this story I am writing now would be the sequel. I already had my Friday planned from a couple of weeks ago with Kathy McGraw (fellow ActiveRainer) who flew in to Hawaii on Wednesday from California with her daughter, Corina (another ActiveRainer) and her grandchildren.
I had spoken with Kathy over the last couple of months and I was excited and anticipating her arrival. Finally! I get to meet someone in person who I have "connected" with through ActiveRain.
Linda Bourgault had called me last week to invite me to the scattering of Bruce's ashes although I was unable to attend. I invited her to join us this morning for breakfast and then Randy Prothero (my buddy and fellow agent in Century 21 Liberty Homes) called me this morning and said he can attend the breakfast as well.
I had started out the day with the sole intent of creating my day of Aloha....with just that. The "Spirit of Aloha" (a 'sense of caring and kindness to those around me) and boy did it turn out to be a wonderful day I had!
So here we are at Zippy's Restaurant in Waipio Gentry! Randy is sitting next to me, top is Corina, Left bottom is Linda and top left is Kathy.
We joked and laughed and talked and talked and ended up having a pretty long breakfast :) From talking about Real Estate, Mortgages, Loss Mitigation and MOSTLY ActiveRain it really made for a variety of unreal conversation!
Thus began my day of Traveling the Road of Aloha!
This is yet another positive for this Real Estate Network called ActiveRain. How we connect and with some of the peers that we have met and connected with on this network. It is so important to be mindful and respectful of one another because no matter what, what brought us together in the first place was networking with our peers as professionals in the Real Estate Industry on ActiveRain.
After breakfast Randy and Linda had other appointments so Kathy and two of the five grandchildren hopped in my car and off we went to the North Shore!
Along the way Kathy and I talked about anything and everything. At one point she asked me if she was the same in person as on the phone. Oh, yes ....and then some. Her daughter said my laugh was infectious (my mom calls it boisterous) and her grandchildren were the most well behaved children and such a joy to be around.
Now I really want grandchildren. I just have this feeling my grandchildren would be just like that. :)
The following show of is of my trip through an ActiveRain connection with Kathy McGraw on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
Enjoy the show!

It is with great admiration and respect that I have for the ActiveRain REAL ESTATE Network that I have met some wonderful people here on this socializing network.
Randy Prothero (my buddy and fellow agent from our office, Century 21 Liberty Homes), Linda Bourgault (Loss Mitigation and widow of Bruce Bourgault) Kathy McGraw (owner of CELLing Realty, Whitewater, CA) and her daughter Corina (CELLing Realty, North San Diego County) and WooHoo Sally (that's me!) met on November 23, 2007 for breakfast at Zippy's in Waipio Gentry, Oahu, Hawaii.
It's with mutual respect for each other while conversing on ActiveRain and through our business in the REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY that brought us together.
I will always be mindful and respectful of my peers while blogging ...just for this fact: We network for referrals, blog for business and in the meantime...make wonderful friends!
For that, I am grateful for this REAL ESTATE Network called ActiveRain.
Thank you!
