After writing "The Road Less Traveled.....The Aloha" story I knew this story I am writing now would be the sequel. I already had my Friday planned from a couple of weeks ago with Kathy McGraw (fellow ActiveRainer) who flew in to Hawaii on Wednesday from California with her daughter, Corina (another ActiveRainer) and her grandchildren.

I had spoken with Kathy over the last couple of months and I was excited and anticipating her arrival. Finally! I get to meet someone in person who I have "connected" with through ActiveRain.

Linda Bourgault had called me last week to invite me to the scattering of Bruce's ashes although I was unable to attend. I invited her to join us this morning for breakfast and then Randy Prothero (my buddy and fellow agent in Century 21 Liberty Homes) called me this morning and said he can attend the breakfast as well.

I had started out the day with the sole intent of creating my day of Aloha....with just that. The "Spirit of Aloha"  (a 'sense of caring and kindness to those around me) and boy did it turn out to be a wonderful day I had!

So here we are at Zippy's Restaurant in Waipio Gentry! Randy is sitting next to me, top is Corina, Left bottom is Linda and top left is Kathy.

We joked and laughed and talked and talked and ended up having a pretty long breakfast :)  From talking about Real Estate, Mortgages, Loss Mitigation and MOSTLY ActiveRain it really made for a variety of unreal conversation!

Thus began my day of Traveling the Road of Aloha!

This is yet another positive for this Real Estate Network called ActiveRain. How we connect and with some of the peers that we have met and connected with on this network. It is so important to be mindful and respectful of one another because no matter what, what brought us together in the first place was networking with our peers as professionals in the Real Estate Industry on ActiveRain.

After breakfast Randy and Linda had other appointments so Kathy and two of the five grandchildren hopped in my car and off we went to the North Shore!

Along the way Kathy and I talked about anything and everything. At one point she asked me if she was the same in person as on the phone. Oh, yes ....and then some. Her daughter said my laugh was infectious (my mom calls it boisterous) and her grandchildren were the most well behaved children and such a joy to be around.

Now I really want grandchildren. I just have this feeling my grandchildren would be just like that. :)

The following show of is of my trip through an ActiveRain connection with Kathy McGraw on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

                                                  Enjoy the show!

ActiveRain Meeting of Peers
, Oahu, HI 96789

It is with great admiration and respect that I have for the ActiveRain REAL ESTATE Network that I have met some wonderful people here on this socializing network.

Randy Prothero (my buddy and fellow agent from our office, Century 21 Liberty Homes), Linda Bourgault (Loss Mitigation and widow of Bruce Bourgault) Kathy McGraw (owner of CELLing Realty, Whitewater, CA) and her daughter Corina (CELLing Realty, North San Diego County) and WooHoo Sally (that's me!) met on November 23, 2007 for breakfast at Zippy's in Waipio Gentry, Oahu, Hawaii.

It's with mutual respect for each other while conversing on ActiveRain and through our business in the REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY that brought us together.

I will always be mindful and respectful of my peers while blogging ...just for this fact: We network for referrals, blog for business and in the meantime...make wonderful friends!

For that, I am grateful for this REAL ESTATE Network called ActiveRain.

Thank you!

Sally.... it's nice to meet others from Active Rain.  And it was especially nice to have Linda involved. I was suppose to meet up with Judy Morgan this weekend, but I am sick...  the cold with soar throat. In any case, thanks for sharing this.

Jeff: It was such a pleasant experience ... just to know that we can meet someone through this blogging thing. It was really an eye opener.

Fran:  And all of my favorites checking this out! :)

Lisa:  I did look relaxed didn't I? I hate posing for pictures...I like the just having fun stuff :)

BB:  She just called me from the airport...they are on their way to the other island Kauai (my mom was born/raised on Kauai) .... and I tell you what. I made a good friend. I have many more wonderful pictures...which I'm sure I'll use in posts along the way. :)

TLW: I never dreamed it would have worked out like a puzzle the way it did. Comment on posts...an email here and there...talk on the phone many times and Kathy coming to visit. I really enjoyed the "process". Can't happen without the "quality of relationships" .... that a professional is worth :)

Desiree:  I will look forward to your coming as well.  Make sure and do a stop here if you can .... I'm sure I can drag Randy along as well....  It's the Aloha for fellow Rainers. :)

Jo: After this "connection" I just know more are to come!

Carole:  Oh how I wish everyone could come here....as I would like to go see everyone over there. Hmm...maybe one day.

Randy: High surf...there were two baby turtles swimming but couldn't get a shot...too rough and they would poke their heads up and disappear.

Missy: Isn't that the truth??  Want em...but shhhh....:)

Suzanne: Thanks ...and when did you say you're coming?

George: You think that's funny....We all mentioned it at breakfast...including Linda's green pattern matched as well...you see how we "connect" lol!  You're so silly....but I tell you what...so much hugs going around...and of course Randy had to sit next to me and keep teasing how "girlie" I am and how my posts are always "touchy feely" kind of stuff. Hey...he's always commenting on them and he's my buddy ...so what does that tell you?  He likes it...haha.

I have read and read and then talked to people and they are just like their writing. Kathy, Corina and Linda are first time connections in person and they were all such lovely people to be around.....and real. Randy and I have been good friends for years so that meeting was a continuation of his badgering me about my "touchy feely" posts and how I do the fairy thing (I collect fairies LOL) I would love to talk to you sometime. Dear Celeste,

I know you are really busy with one of my favorite AR groups, but we miss you at TravelingRainers!  This post would fit so nicely on our board...

...Just a thought...   we'd like your ray of sunshine too...

Celeste, thank you!  You're the best!

My sister is in Hawaii right now.   I can't wait to see the pictures!  I haven't been to Hawaii for over a decade...  I'm just about due for a trip...

Welcome to our group!  Please give us all your Island Exploration posts!  I know it's home to you, but it's "Travel" to us!

Sally, those pictures are getting me misty eyed.  My husband is from Oahu - grew up there all his life.  We lived there early part of our marriage. We love Laniakea beach and visit every time we come down.  As a matter of fact we are stopping there for a couple of days and flying to Maui for a wedding in June.  Aloha!
