What is a Knucklehead?

By
Real Estate Agent with BCR Realtors 262359

Today I looked up the definition of knuclehead in some obscure web dictionary .  Expecting something a little more eloquent this is what it said ... A stupid person.

And that is exactly what I felt like all day today after opening my big mouth.......WITHOUT THINKING.

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.....

Been there! I was at a listing appointment and was explaining subdivision covenants cause I was helping them buy too. I said it tells them what they can or can't do like have a shed and it keeps the neighbors from having a big ugly yellow barn in the backyard. Both of them went blank and I knew I just stepped in "it" ... luckily for me, these folks had a since of humor and started to crack up. They took me out back to show me their yellow barn, which I was of course unaware was there.. Don't worry - got the listing and everything is fine :)

Trey,

LOL.....I do my best to always listen first....long before I speak.  I am told I am too quiet and have issues getting involved.....yet I see too many people insert foot in mouth.

I think the definition is way too harsh.

Reminds me of the old saying "better to stay quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" seriously though we all put our foot in our mouth at times. Make it right and move on.

Great post Trey. I am often taking my foot out of my mouth.  I have tons of fam in Roberson County.  If you are ever at Duffy Drug in Franklin those are my relatives.I have eaten at that Mexican food place.  I was going to take a pic of my late grandparents fav.  The Dixie but I thought the confed flag on the sign might be offensive.  Only in Booger County.  Have a great Day.

The white jackass got behind my car one day at a listing, and refused to budge.

Bless you Trey!    Just from another knucklehead.   Stupid is way too harsh - and we need to change the definition.

If you are someone who is all knowing and without character foibles or mistakes, you may be more comfortable elsewhere in the universe although that in itself is a flaw... I'm just sayin'...
