As a parent I understand how important my kids’ education is to me as well as my child's future. So, when I talk to other parents about their kids and their home, the school boundaries are very important. When I search for homes for parents the schools they live near are very important to them.

Beaverton Oregon Home For Sale near school

Now, there are many factors in their decision to why they want to live near a certain school. It can be because they are already going to that school, it could be because they heard that school was a great school or it may be because the school offers a special program for their child.

There are many sites out there that can help parents decide how good a Beaverton school is including GreatSchools.org and SchoolDigger.com. Todd Clark and the Friendly Home Team are dedicated to helping parents find great schools for their kids and make their living Beaverton experience the best it can be.

I have always asked clients who home school, where the best public and private learning institutions are.

The fact is they've done the research and know more about local school systems than most people because they've researched them...

Todd, this is a great resource for buyers in your area!  And you are so right that schools are almost always a major driver of location for buyers - even if they don't yet have children.

Todd-Great chart. Wish I could do this too but we are risk averse due to boundary changes. This is a nice public service.

Great info Todd.  We bought a home that is ONE parcel outside of the boundary for the schools we wanted our children to attend.  We were able to do a district transfer but that hasn't helped with the bus situation.  We should've done more homework but just assumed our new home was within the boundaries.  BIG issue that has an effect on every day life for parents.

I have based a huge part of my real estate investment strategy on schools and school districts. I have learned that people will pay a premium to have their kids in certain schools and once they are there, they will usually stay until graduation.
