Happy Valentine's Day Celebration for 100K points!

Today has been a special day.....I've achieved the next level at Active Rain - 100,000 points! What a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day!!!

It's been just over a year since I started blogging (been a member since 2008 but not actively involved until Jan. 2011). I took small steps to begin, then bigger ones by commenting , then I tried a couple of contest and soon I was running....running after the person in front of me - giving myself a goal to overtake those who have abandoned their AR blogs.

Blogging has become a favorite real estate reward for me. I go to sleep at night thinking of subject matter, titles and even the cartoons or photos to use.

I'm on the first page of the Austin Texas group! I'm even above the "fold" on the computer....you don't have to scroll to find me - I'm right there on the screen.

I'm excited to read what others have to say. I hurt when my AR colleagues hurt. I laugh when they tell "funnies". I applaud the efforts of all.

Come celebrate with me! And then it's on to another AR level as my journey continues.

Gwynn- Congrats to you! I know what you mean about trying to chase the ones in front of you. I was in the top ten in the Plano/ Frisco area but recently moved to Boerne so I was number 15 in SA but now up to 13. I'll get there one day. Best of luck to you on reaching your next milestone of 200K.

Linda: It was a special treat....when I realized I wasn't going to make it earlier in the week I held off so as to make the 100K happen on Valentine's Day.

Carolyn: It hasn't been as bad as you would think...I've checked out those above me and realized so many had abandoned AR blogs that I could overtake them with a little persistence.

Stephanie: I'm off and running toward 200K...maybe next Valentine's Day will be another milestone!
