Okay, we took off for Thanksgiving...took off from Long Island to Cherry Hill, NJ.  Friday morning we headed up to our family in Providence RI (oops, two days away from Real Estate).  Today we went to the movies in Providence and saw An American Gangster.

If you haven't had a chance to see it...it really is quite good.  It has a slow start and a little disjointed for people like me who do not always connect the dots, but it also had 3 of the sexiest actors in starring roles; Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe and Armand Asante...enough to bring me to a movie.

It's the type of story (and a true story at that) where you really like the good guy and the bad guy...gets kind of confusing to find someone to dislike.

We were going to drive back to Long Island tonight after dinner at the Twin Oaks, but just can't make it; we will leave early tomorrow because I have an appointment with a client to show homes (heaven forbid I have a 4-day weekend like salaried folks).

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend...we all need some time off periodically.  I will start fresh again tomorrow.

Hopinig you all took some time to renew.

Thanks! This is on my list. I heard the "real guy" on a radio interview - sounded very remorseful.  I can't remember the last move I saw at the theater though - hopefully I'll make it!

Gail, thanks for the review. I was just online deciding whether or not to go to a movie tomorrow. I haven't taken the time to do something as simple as a movie in awhile. What the heck, I wrote an offer today, I deserve a movie!

One of many good things the holidays offer us is an opportunity to spend quality time with our family and friends. Glad you enjoyed the time off. Now back to work!!

Gail, It sounds like a good movie.  I'm glad you had some time away, I love Providence and went there often, we used to have a summer home in Bristol.  I have always loved Rhode Island since then!

Gail,

Great movie review. We have little kids and were wondering if you had a chance to catch Enchanted? If not, don't worry, we will be seeing it on Saturday. If I don't hear from you, maybe I will right a blog about it :)
