Compared to January 2011 single family home average sold prices were 40% up in January 2012.  Due to the average prices going up, the number of units sold in January 2012 was down 25%.

Hi Will, sometime  a hungry agent need a listing s/he will take an over priced listing , after years the seller willing to reduce the price and finally accepted a contract with 60% less than the original price.
