Renee, this is great news for all us. Once we can clear our short sale backlogs, the inventory will move in the right direction. This is good news. I for one needed this.

Have the same problem here Renee. Less than 2 months worth, and it dipped below 1.5 at one point!
Hi Renee - Housing supply is also very tight in the Greater Toronto Area. Many houses have multiple offers and some are selling for significant amounts more than the listing price.
Renee we are seeing the same in Surprise AZ. The Active Adult Communities are staying cosistent but that is a different egg. Looks like we could be getting closer to normal in the housing market.

Short sales are down considerably including here. Kind of goes hand in hand with the number of people gaining employment, which percentage wise is down. I see more of this trend in the future... nice to know your area is looking up...Wayne

Renee, low inventory sounds great unless people are only buying the Short Sales.
Us too. Looooow inventory here makes it pretty competitive when buying a home.
I thought LV got hit the hardest and lots to sell there? Hope it gets better there!
