4 Jamestown RI homes  sold in January 2012, as follows:

3 homes sold over $400,000

1 home sold between $300,000-$400,000

There were 63 Jamestown RI homes for sale in January which was 2 more homes on the market over the prior month.  This is an increase in home inventory on Conanicut Island aka Jamestown RI.  The coastal Jamestown RI shore remains one of the most desirable waterfront buys for home searches.  Who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by water? Oh, yes with an escape route either way to North Kingstown or Newport!

The number of luxury waterfront Jamestown RI homes on the market is 26 which is 41% of the Jamestown real estate inventory right now.  

So in January 2012-  4 Jamestown RI homes were sold, the average sale price of a home was $515,225, homes sold at 87 % of list price and were on the real estate market on average for 316 days.

Why wait until the Spring to sell your home? There are buyers looking for homes to buy especially in the under $1 million price range. Putting your home on the market when the inventory is low, may get your Jamestown home sold before the home inventory increases in the Spring.

HA! I just read you and Melissa's comment and I think we are all editing our photos before Picnik closes down! I have photos framed, branded, collages....I spend an hour a day getting ready for that very sad day! Ginny - now that Spring is around the corner I'll bet sales will be rising with the temperatures in your gorgeous area of Rhode Island - it's so beautiful in the spring!
