We have a recent listing where the home was very clean and neat, but appeared "full of stuff". This will happen to a home when there is a full family living there and rooms evolve to reflect the owner's particular lifestyle. There are so many links to websites suggesting methods for "de-cluttering a home". Make it minimal, create an easy flow, draw attention to a particular amenity....

Some clients are more receptive than others, but this couple went way beyond cooperative. In one week they transformed the home into a showplace. They accomplished this while living there and with 2 small children to attend to as well. We are talking painting some of the walls, rearranging every room, removing large furniture, installing flooring, replacing some appliances, replacing deck boards... the list goes on.

It is such a pleasure to have cooperative clients who "get it" when it comes to being the most appealing property in their price range. Of course, now the pressure is on us to sell the home. They have done their job and we are off to do ours.
