After walking into a Dunkin Donuts in Quincy, MA I asked my barista if she knew where the
first Dunkin Donuts opened up. Truth be told, I already knew the answer but she did not. While making my iced caramel latte, she asked a couple other people who also weren’t sure until a 10-year veteran of the company walked in and said that the first one opened up in 1948 just down the street. She said “I used to work there” and began to tell me an stories that she had heard about when they first opened their doors.
