Special offer

Adsense - does it make sense?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

While meandering around the internet I've discovered this thing called AdSense offered up by Google.  It's not necessarily a way to increase my exposure as much as an oppurtinity for some passive income.

I'd like to hear from some of the more experienced 'Rainers about how they have taken advantage of the Google offering.  I am considering adding this to my web site (I still have to figure out how to do that).   Comments anyone?

Oh, and for fun, I've added another photo taken from my back deck:

I read about this and I think the problem is they will put ads on your website that they think go with the theme of the site which includes other Realtor's ads.  I thought it was a great idea until I saw another agent who had a Long and Foster ad on their website and they weren't a Long and Foster agent so there is the great potential for a person to click right through on your website to another agent!

I have tried ad sense before with no zero results. I have more success with AR by utilizing AR's SEO. And best of all its free.

Rebecca, what is AR?  I know what SEO is but what does AR do?  I'm still very, very green in the internet world so please spell things out for me!

Thank you for your response and advice!
